At Borderless Skills, we are committed to providing quality learning experiences for our students. Because our products are digital courses and training resources, we have to protect both our learners and our instructors with a clear refund policy.
By enrolling in any course or training on this platform, you agree to the terms below.
1. Scope of this Policy
This policy applies to all paid:
- Online self-paced courses
- Live or cohort-based classes
- Webinars, workshops and trainings
- Bundled course packages and learning programs
Whether you pay directly on Borderless Skills or through a third-party payment processor, this policy still applies.
2. General Refund Principles
- We do not offer refunds simply because you changed your mind, forgot about the course, or did not use it.
- Refunds are considered only where our platform, course access, or delivery clearly did not match what was promised, or where there is a confirmed technical or billing error.
- All refunds are at the sole discretion of Borderless Skills, in line with this policy.
3. Refunds for Self-Paced Online Courses
You may request a refund for a self-paced online course if all these conditions are met:
- Your request is made within 7 days of your payment date, and
- You have completed less than 20% of the course content, and
- You have not downloaded certificates, assignments, or materials that represent completion of the course.
If these conditions are not met, the payment is non-refundable.
4. Refunds for Live Classes, Cohorts and Webinars
Because live sessions require planning, scheduling and resource allocation in advance:
- If you cancel at least 48 hours before the first live session, you may request
- A refund, minus any non-recoverable transaction fees, or
- A transfer of your payment to another cohort or course (subject to availability).
- If you cancel less than 48 hours before the first live session, or after the class has started, the payment is non-refundable.
If Borderless Skills cancels a live program completely and does not offer an alternative date, you will be offered either:
- A full refund, or
- A credit that you can use for another course.
5. Non-Refundable Items
The following are non-refundable in all situations:
- Completed courses
- Courses where more than 20% of the content has been accessed
- Certificates and exam or assessment fees
- Downloaded digital products and resources
- Promotional or discounted offers marked as “Non-refundable”
6. Payment Issues and Duplicate Charges
If you believe you have been:
- Charged more than once, or
- Charged for a course you did not register for,
please contact us immediately with proof of payment. If we confirm the error, we will either:
- Refund the incorrect amount, or
- Apply it as credit to your Borderless Skills account, based on your preference.
7. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, please:
- Send us an email with:
- Your full name
- Email address used on your Borderless Skills account
- Course or program name
- Date of payment
- Proof of payment (screenshot or transaction reference)
- Reason for your refund request
- Use the contact details on the Contact page of this website, or email us at:
[email protected]
We may request further information to verify your identity and transaction.
8. Refund Processing
- Approved refunds will be processed to the same payment method used for the original transaction whenever possible.
- Processing time may vary depending on your bank or payment provider, but we generally initiate approved refunds within 7–10 working days after approval.
9. Chargebacks
We encourage you to contact us first to resolve any issue.
Unjustified chargebacks or disputes raised with your bank or card issuer, without first speaking to us, may lead to:
- Suspension or termination of your Borderless Skills account, and
- Restriction from future enrollments.
10. Changes to This Policy
Borderless Skills may update this Refund & Cancellation Policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page, with the “Last updated” date shown above.
